Persuasion: The Psychology of Selling Ideas
We had a fortune 500 technology company who needed to rethink their entire sales process. The economy and technology had changed the landscape. The only way to compete in the long term was to transition from a transactional selling process to a trusted advisor. In addition to training and consulting to redesign their sales processes, we provided a keynote presentation on Persuasion: The Psychology of Selling Ideas. In the keynote we laid out the plan to become trusted advisors and provided their sales consultants with tangible ways to persuade and influence clients.
The Emotionally Intelligent Leader
Colin spoke to an audience of over 800 people at an association’s national conference on The Emotional Intelligent Leader. The keynote showed how leaders at all levels could build trust and improve relationships by implementing simple emotional intelligence competencies. The keynote was customized to the association’s theme to provide applicable ideas and relevant examples from the audience’s industry. The customization went beyond case studies and industry application to the client’s unique vocabulary. The results were that many attendees felt the keynote was the best presentation of the conference and we were asked to speak again a few years later.
